Made-to-Order Process
Every UMDAA piece is built after you confirm — not before, and never pulled from a warehouse shelf. Here is exactly what happens between your order and your door, so there are no surprises at any stage.
1. Confirm the details
We verify the design, dimensions, material, finish, price, production timeline, delivery charge, and advance amount with you. Nothing moves forward until you confirm — your confirmation is the final specification.
2. Advance payment
Pay the advance — 20% for standard pieces, 50% for fully custom work — by bank transfer, using your order number as the reference. Your production slot is reserved the moment it lands.
3. Material preparation
We source and prepare the materials for your piece: solid wood, finishes, and hardware. Natural wood grain and colour vary from piece to piece; that variation is the character of real wood, not a defect.
4. Build & quality checks
Our workshop builds your piece by hand, checking structure, joints, and finish at every stage. Each piece is finished and inspected before it is photographed.
5. Photo approval
We photograph the finished piece and share real photos with you on WhatsApp. You approve — or request adjustments — before dispatch. Nothing ships without your approval.
6. Packing & dispatch
Your approved piece is packed for furniture transit: surfaces wrapped, corners reinforced, larger pieces boxed or crated. We share the courier tracking details on WhatsApp at dispatch.
7. Delivery & balance
Receive your order, record a clear unboxing video (required for any damage claim), and pay the remaining balance in cash on delivery.
